First built in 1923, the 5’10 1/2″ Steinway Model L is among the larger sized Steinway ‘baby grands.’ The Steinway Model L was designed to replace the same size Model O. (The Model O returned to production in 2005.) These pianos are extremely popular with home owners and pianists who enjoy having the excellence of a Steinway piano in a manageable size. It also quite common to see these instruments utilized in institutional and performance settings as well. Steinway & Sons Model L Grand Piano #241356 was built in 1927 at the New York Steinway & Sons factory. This ‘golden era’ Steinway Grand Piano is a testament to the high caliber of work that came out of the factory during this time period. Rebuilding work has been completed on this piano and it has been returned to like new, concert level condition.
The original Steinway & Sons Factory soundboard has been retained and has been recondition and refinished. A new custom fitted pinblock has been installed and the piano features New keytops, genuine Steinway action parts and much more. The action has been fully regulated to ensure a perfect playing experience and can be customized to your preferences by our piano technicians.
